Dr. Trotter Wall manages the daily operations of the pharmacy and mentors current pharmacy students.

Katty Hsu, PharmD

Current position: Clinical Coordinator

Dr. Hsu coordinates many clinical services, including diabetes self-management, smoking cessation, latent tuberculosis management, pre-travel health and multiple disease-state screenings. She also mentors pharmacy students during their clinical rotations.

Sherry Cochran, RPH

A pharmacist by day, an international dance teacher and folk event organizer by night (and weekends).

Before coming to USC, Ms. Cochran worked for many years managing retail and long-term-care pharmacies and also worked as regional manager for a pharmacist temp agency, which gave her opportunities to work in a variety of settings, including ambulatory care, manufacturing and home care. She has worked for USC Pharmacies for more than 20 years.

Sylvia Y. Rodriguez, PharmD

Current position: Staff Pharmacist

Sylvia graduated from the USC School of Pharmacy in 1980. She went on to complete an Oncology Residency at VA in Long Beach. She started her career at USC in 1985 with a position at the UPC Student Health Center Pharmacy and currently works at USC Medical Plaza Pharmacy. Aside from her duties as a pharmacist, Sylvia is the lead preceptor for the 4th year on-site clerkship rotation for the pharmacy.

Jay Parikh, PharmD

While he’s the newest addition to the Plaza Pharmacy staff, Dr. Parikh is no stranger to the organization having interned at Plaza throughout his pharmacy school years. After graduating, he worked for Target as a pharmacy manager. He joined Plaza as a staff pharmacist in May 2012 and is very involved in patient care activities as well as mentoring pharmacy school students doing internships and rotations. After work, Dr. Parikh is committed to community service through philanthropic organizations established at the School of Pharmacy.

Elizabeth Khatchaturian, PharmD

Dr. Khatchaturian has been a pharmacist at the Verdugo Hills Professional Pharmacy location since 2008. Prior to that, she worked as a community pharmacist in the area. The Verdugo Hills Professional Pharmacy prides itself on personalized patient care and Dr. Khatchaturian looks forward to adding additional services to enhance patient care now they are part of USC Pharmacy.

Keck Medicine of USC Specialty Pharmacy

Elina Baskina, PharmD

Current position: Director of Pharmacy, Keck Medicine of USC Specialty Pharmacy

Dr. Baskina re-joined the USC Pharmacy team after completing a residency in community pharmacy at the University of Washington in Seattle. Having worked at USC Pharmacy during her undergraduate and pharmacy school days, she joined USC Medical Plaza Pharmacy and worked alongside her mentors as a clinical pharmacist, providing clinical services such as diabetes management, smoking cessation and LTBI prophylaxis and assisting in mentoring students during their clinical rotations.

Raffi Svadjian, PharmD, MBA

Current position: Senior Director, Keck Medicine of USC Specialty Pharmacy

Raffi Svadjian leads the daily operations, strategic planning, and administrative oversight for Keck Medicine of USC Specialty Pharmacy. Previously, he served as interim executive director for USC Outpatient Pharmacies from June 2014 to April 2016. Svadjian was previously based at USC Medical Plaza Pharmacy, having served as a staff pharmacist there from 2003 to 2012. A 2003 graduate of USC School of Pharmacy, he also holds an MBA from USC Marshall School of Business.

 

Edith Mirzaian, PharmD, BCACP

PharmD: USC School of Pharmacy
Residency: Community Pharmacy Practice, USC
Current position: Coordinator, Pharmacy Patient Care Programs; Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy

Dr. Mirzaian coordinates various patient care programs, focusing on diabetes, travel health, anticoagulation, and smoking cessation. She holds the Certificate of Knowledge in Travel Health from the International Society of Travel Medicine.

Richard Dang, PharmD, BCACP

Current Position: Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy

Dr. Dang is a Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist who works as a clinical pharmacist at the collaborative practice clinics with the USC Pharmacies, including the USC International Travel Health Clinic. He coordinates and provides various patient care programs, including travel health, immunizations, diabetes management, anticoagulation management, smoking cessation, latent tuberculosis management, and medication therapy management. He also serves as a preceptor mentoring students, interns, and residents during their clinical rotations.

Leah Amirian, PharmD

Dr. Amirian holds a Certificate of Knowledge in Travel Health from the International Society of Travel Medicine. She provides a number of clinical services, including travel health, immunizations, diabetes management, anticoagulation management, smoking cessation and latent TB management.
