What is Naloxone?
Naloxone is used in emergency situations in which someone has reacted badly to an opioid and is experiencing an opioid overdose. Naloxone works by blocking or reversing the effects of opioids in the body.
Where to get naloxone
Naloxone is available without a physician’s prescription at all USC Pharmacies. If you would like to purchase naloxone, ask a team member at any USC Pharmacy.
Once you get naloxone, put it in an easily accessible place, tell your family and friends where it is, and teach those around you how to use it.
